Before You Buy

Item Availability

We update our inventory continuously, and may sell out of certain products. Our lead-time is quick, as our production is based in the USA. We hold our inventory in white, and garment dye our products in small lots. For out-of-stock items, please assume a 2-4 week timeframe for us to replenish our stock. We will update you if the product becomes available sooner.

If you have a color or fabric in mind you would like to see, please let us know! Comments about product availability can be emailed to orders@taperedcollection.com.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Amazon payments.

Discounts and Promotions

We have priced our collection competitively in comparison to other t-shirts of this quality, workmanship and fabric offering. Twice a year we will offer a promotion code for Friends & Family (July and November). Additionally, we offer a Cyber Monday sale.  Because our designs are classic and colors neutral, we do not plan to move items into heavy discounts at the end of each season. If you see something you like, please buy it whenever you are ready. It will most likely not go on sale.

Sales Tax

As a web-based retailer based in Massachusetts, we do not charge sales tax on clothing.

Locations

We strive to keep our products competitively priced. In order to do so, we do not have a retail footprint nor do we sell to retailers. On occasion, we will partner with select businesses that we have relationships with to feature our product for the season.  If you interested in carrying Tapered Collection wholesale, please email sales@taperedcollection.com.

Orders

Once you submit an order, we have limited ability to modify the order before it’s processed in our warehouse. Please contact us with any requests to modify as soon as possible. Order inquires can be sent to: orders@taperedcollection.com.

Shipping

We think the price you pay should be free of shipping charges. Shipping to customers is always complimentary when you choose standard USPS. For expedited shipping (2day), we charge a small fee of $10 and use USPS Priority 2-Day Mail. At the time, we are only shipping orders within the Continental US, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. After submitting an order, you will receive an order status with shipping information.

Shipping Information

Products ordered before 10am EST on business days are shipped the same day regardless if you choose standard or priority USPS. For complimentary shipping, we use First Class USPS. For expedited (2day) shipping for an extra fee of $10, we use USPS Priority Mail.  Products ordered after 10am EST are shipped the following business day.

  • USPS Priority 2 Day: 2 business days

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love your Tapered Collection apparel! If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return your order for a full refund or exchange it for another item of your choice within 30 days of purchase. All returns/exchanges must be unwashed, unworn, and in their original condition. Returns received after 30 days will be accepted for store credit only.  Because of heavy discounts, items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for exchanges, returns, or store credit.  

To request a return, please email us at orders@taperedcollection.com. For your convenience, we partner with USPS for the least expensive service.  Please note as of November 1, 2017 we will deduct $5 for return shipping if you use our label.  Labels are emailed to the email address on file within a business day.  Credits for merchandise minus return shipping charges of $5 will appear once the item reaches our warehouse.  If you kept the original packaging, Tapered Collection poly mailers can be reused!  There is a secondary seal that can used to return your item.

To request an exchange, please email us at orders@taperedcollection.com.  For exchanges ONLY, we do offer a complimentary USPS shipping label to return your original item to the warehouse.  

If you tee is damaged, we will replace the tee or offer a full refund.  We work hard to provide quality checks along the way, but alas, sometimes things happen.  Making our customers happy is always important, and we will work with you to make sure you get a quality tee that will last!

Please note we strive to return emails within 1-2 hours from 8am-5pm EST Monday through Friday.  On weekends, emails are typically returned within the day.

Sustainable and Local Commitments

When building our business, we had many choices for manufacturers, fabrics, marketing materials, etc. After much research, we decided to find partners that were small in size, but large in ability.

A friend and amazing photographer, Keirnan Conroy Klosek of KCK Photography shoots our campaigns at private residences in around Boston.

Our shipping materials are sourced by US company, EcoEnclose, that specializes in green products for shipping. Our polymailers and polybags are made from 100% recycled materials.  Our gift bags are 100% recycled paper.

Our manufacturing and distribution services are provided by a manufacturing plant in Fall River, MA.   We are thrilled to keep our business close by, while offering best in class products to our customers.

Tapered Collection uses upscale cotton fabrics sourced and spun in the United States.
